Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a fungus that develops mainly on birch trees in cold climates. It has a history of traditional use in northern regions and contains several groups of compounds that continue to attract scientific interest. 

The name reflects where chaga is most commonly found: growing on birch trees. The dark structure harvested from the tree is not a conventional mushroom cap but a hardened fungal mass known as a sclerotium. 

Yes. Extra Dose is intentionally designed with a more pronounced ginger character. Consumers looking for the classic ginger root shot feel should expect more spiciness and intensity than the milder, fruit-dominated xdose formulas. 

xdose does not present chaga as a medicine. Laboratory and preclinical research into chaga is scientifically interesting, but it should not be translated into claims that a food product can prevent, treat or cure disease.
